  1. [Chapter 3]

    1) I think the promise is an ok name for the Chapter. However, it doesnt really sum up the entire chapter. For example, toward the end of the chapter jody is daydreaming about being the best cowboy ever. That doesnt really relate to the promise. But it still relates to the main part of the chapter

    2)Jody dreams about being a really famous cowboy. Mostly he dreams about being invited to several occasions where there are sorts of competitions between cowboys. He also dreams about being very skilled with, well, whatever skills a cowboy should have. The reason he dreams about this is because he has his own horse to take care of, and he wants it to grow up fast.

  2. 1) To be honest, i didn't really like this book. Mostly i read action, adventure, and the occasional mystery. Im not saying that this book is bad, just that it doesn't really fit into my liking. But the writing was good and it was still an interesting story to read.

    2) I think that the way Jody's dad behaved was rude. I understand that hearing the same story a lot can be very annoying. But that still means you should control your temper. If you really cant stand it, then nicely say that maybe there are other stories that grandpa could tell that they didnt know about.

  3. {CHAPTER 3}

    2) Back then parents were more respected. Thats why children called them sir or ma'am. But as muslims we should still respect them. I have read a few books which have the same doing (I can't remember the names of the books).

    3) It is like Billy is half horse because he is so good in taking care of them. He always understands what they need, (unfortunately Jody's first horse didn't make it). It is almost like he can speak with it. If i had a horse and it was sick, for a vet i would get Billy.

  4. We accidentally returned the book red pony when we went to the library so i cant answer them, but i can answer number one so here it is

    1) I liked chapter 1 best. For some reason i felt more interested in it. Probably because it was the first chapter and because it was kinda had more action. Because that was his first pony then it gets sick and dies. I feels more interesting.
